Venture Wellington - Open your eyes

There seems to be some confusion in Units requiring gas cookers about the need or otherwise for gas. To make it plain and simple, if you are bringing a gas cooker, you will need to bring gas for it. If you are coming from afar, speak nicely to those closer to the event to get the gas you need, your Unit Leaders, or as a VERY last resort your expedition leader.

If you require your expedition leader to provide gas for your cooker contact them through your Unit Leader, but this cost will come from your food budget so wherever you can please just bring your own.

You are not allowed to bring gas on planes, and there will be little opportunity either at Venture or before expeditions to go and get some if you need it (especially those heading down south/into the bush).
