Venture Wellington - Open your eyes

Venturers and Rangers with Special Needs are welcome to attend Venture Wellington and encouraged to do so. Venture is an opportunity for all invested members of the sections who meet the age and other eligibility requirements, no matter what your abilities are.

The Organising Committee is keen that Special Needs applicants fully participate in all aspects of the Venture and will work to ensure that this is the case. However, depending on the nature of their special need, there may be some elements of the Venture Programme that Special Needs participants may not be able to take part in for safety and practical reasons, for example certain expeditions.

Persons with Special Needs wanting to attend Venture Wellington are asked to contact the Chairman of the Venture Organising Committee in confidence (chair@venturewellington.org.nz) in the first instance so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Further information will be provided on a case-by-case basis to meet any Special Needs.
